Pay: CA$29.00-CA$35.00 per hour

Job description:

Overview
This position is for an experienced Planer / Molder setup person . This is a career based position and only those candidates with the experience to work independent of fulltime supervision need apply. A minimum of 5 years experience is required.

Responsibilities
– Setting up heads with knife steel for molders and planers
– Grinding pocketed knives for molders and planers
– Setting up molders and planers to process finished products within .3mm
– Maintaining finished product quality
– Working with Graders to achieve our level of quality

Experience
– Previous experience as a Molder or Planer person
– Mill maintenance on Molder or Planers
– Mechanical background where tight tolerances are involved

We hold bi-monthly, meal supplied meetings to keep our employees informed on the companies focus and current status. We also have a company WhatsApp to help communicate as well.

Experienced Lumber Graders Needed

Pay: CA$30.00 per hour

Job description:

Overview

We are currently looking for experienced lumber graders for our facility located in Agassiz. A grading ticket is to be included with your resume upon applying. The majority of material run through the plant is Western Red cedar and Alaskan Yellow Cedar with some occasional Douglas Fir and Hemlock. Grading, trimming, and sorting are required. Our current hours of operation are Monday to Friday,6:30-3:00 pm. Benefits, a bonus program and RRSP matching are also offered. Weekends and overtime are offered as needed.

Our company also employs full time QC to overlook finished products and orders and tally people to overlook final counts.

We hold two food supplied lunch meetings monthly to go over the current operations of the company and address any concerns. We also have a company WhatsApp to communicate, update, and hold polls with employees.

If you do not possess a WRC or all species grading ticket do not apply.
