Represents the sawmills, re-manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors in Canada and the United States. Powerwood has been a member since inception and in 2010 was honored at the annual trade show for maintaining a booth at ten consecutive shows.
A government subsidized promoter of BC’s wood products. BC Wood, in conjunction with the WRCLA, puts on an international trade conference at Whistler every September (previously in Penticton, BC). Powerwood has represented at the show every year with a booth.
PEFC Canada represents organizations in Canada that have certified their forestry operations to the PEFC-endorsed Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) standards, as well as organizations and businesses that are certified to the PEFC International Chain of Custody Standard.
