Role: Lumber Grader

Pay: CA$30.00 per hour

Job description:

We require a lumber grader possessing a lumber grading ticket with real time work experience. We deal primarily with coastal species, WRC, AYC, and DF. If you do not possess a lumber grading ticket do not apply as no time will be given to those applicants.

The position starts with our onboard program consisting of 3 months being rotated through the plant gaining experience in all areas.

We offer a position in a well established company with great employee retention. With the position comes bonuses, rrsp matching, medical, extended health, boot allowance.

We hold catered yard meetings no less than once a month, normally twice a month, to update employees as to what is going on within the company and the industry. We also have a company WhatsApp to communicate with employees and one another.

Now Hiring: Packaging Labourers – Agassiz Facility

Role: Packaging Labourer

Pay: CA$22.00-$25.50 per hour

Job description:

  • Package finished lumber products according to company and customer specifications

  • Strap, wrap, label, and prepare bundles for shipment

  • Apply protective materials to prevent damage during transport

  • Verify counts and sizes before final packaging

  • Maintain clean and organized packaging and yard areas

  • Follow work orders, tally sheets, and packaging instructions accurately

  • Perform quality checks to ensure product meets PowerWood standards

  • Operate basic tools and packaging equipment safely

  • Comply with all safety procedures and wear required PPE
